Baccarat
Baccarat is a very popular table card game played in offline and online casinos in Europe and around the world. There are three types of baccarat games: Baccarat Banque, Baccarat Chemin de Fer or Punto Banco. Among them, the most popular in the world, Punto Banco, is a pure game of chance that is not at all a matter of strategy or skill. Each player's turn is determined by his or her cards.
On the other hand, the player and dealer in Baccarat Banque and Baccarat Chemin De Fer can make choices, which adds a certain level of skill to the game. While the odds of winning are generally in the dealer's or banker's favor, neither of these two baccarat variants has a house edge of less than 1%. In its simplest terms, baccarat can be described as a comparative card game played between the hands of a banker and a player. Each game and baccarat can have three possible outcomes: draw, banker or player (with the higher score). The earliest traces of the game of baccarat can be found in 19th-century France. However, many similar games have also been played in the past, such as Gabo Japgi, Oicho Kabu and Macau.
